Thread regarding Imperial Oil Limited layoffs

Need to compare

Had enough of this beating around the bush! I am 18 years in Imperial Oil, CL26 and my salary is $154,000. In terms of CL and salary I thing I am lagging behind. Can someone kindly help me figure out how much I am lagging behind? Any reference point will be helpful, thanks.

@tayc

You can assure.......riiighhhht. We will just take your word for it and ignore all complaints from ppl that worked with TC's directly.

Analytical jobs can outsource....but management positions, nooooooooo, that needs to stay in NA right? LOL, the disassociated mind of a typical manager ladies and gentlemen.

I can assure you that most of the corporate analytical type jobs especially those in Controller's can be performed in the GBS at a much lower cost without any loss of data integrity or accuracy. Most should be thankful they have a high paying job.

RE: @8rgl

So you are consistently ranked low but still get promoted to CL27? Was it initiated by your sup or some other external factor?

I was CL26, and my salary was between $145K and $150K 2 years ago. I was consistently ranked low, and ranked NI twice. So, souls like I was in the average ball-park figure

CL25, about $145K - that was 10 years ago, and have since left the company

When did you get bumped to 26? How did you rank in CL26? If you are consistently Q3, at a YEE of 24, 185k - 195k should be the expected range. If you are in the Q4's then 165k - 175k due to compounded lower raises. If you are in the NI region.......then yeahh....150k - 160k is plausible given the negligible raises.
