20h/wk, easy in Global Projects.
I did 70+ during Covid then got dropped in ranking by people that never met me and did not know what I did. Since that ranking, 40.
Annandale contractor here, about 2 hours a day, find a dark lab and plenty of I phone time. Love this place….hide and seek all day….. still waiting on my permit …what a joke
I was doing 60-70 hrs/week pre-Covid and worked my a%$ off doing most of the pandemic. I’m doing maybe 30 hrs/wk tops now. The lack of pay raises was bad enough but when I saw how they treated people that helped pull the company through “unprecedented” times, I had enough of this toxic mess.
About 20 at most, working in global projects. No good or demanding projects around unless you're the 20% chosen few.
I’m willing to put in the hours to get to the destination but if we don’t know where we are going that demotivates me and I’ll do only what is necessary.
I was working 60 hours before I quit. Even though I was paid well, the compensation was not worth the enormous work load and the mental abuse.
70+ we are worked like slaves
I skrew around for ~30 hours per week and literally skrew (planting my seeds) in the "biblical sense" for the remaining time..............so many opportunities, too little time.
39hrs
168 mental hours.
I've been with the company for many year. In the past, if a person received a negative review they would work their tails off to improve for the next cycle (also, folks didn't bounce from the top down to the bottom or vice versus in one year). We are all working 2 to 3 jobs replacing those that have left. In the past, that would get you pretty far in ranking. Now, it doesn't mean anything because EVERYONE is doing it. Get an unfavorable ranking these days while working several jobs, well people are giving up. How much more can a person take on? I think of the 100 meter sprint...really hard to keep shaving seconds off the clock. I think the youngsters are expressing what us more seasoned employees have been thinking...that this is BS. The younger generation aren't conned. They see that the Company just sees us as assets and not humans.
35-40 Global Projects
@syw Haha…
Bullsh!t.
I’d be surprised if any office employee did 10 hours of value-added work per week. Even less for managers.
Go ahead and downvote. We all know that nobody does a whole lot, and a bunch of red arrows isn’t going to change that.
I put in a good 40 hours, no matter how long it takes.
50-60 until my last assessment. Now around 20.
Real work, about 2-3. I do as little as possible here in Annandale.
As few as possible.
Way less than I used to after my last assessment. Going forward I’ll be giving only what is required, nothing extra.
15-20 per week. RTD
20 hours top, usually less. Global Projects.
25-30 hours, light workload at EMTec
50-60 hours a week. My toxic sls in Baton Rouge told me she didn’t care how many hours I put in. Hours spent working had nothing to do with ranking. I guess that’s how they do it in Malaysia
Sometimes it feels like some people are working 20-hour weeks and others 60-hour weeks.
