Was thinking the same thing, and I don’t even work in IT lol. If you have a well implemented data visualization tool that is integrated with the necessary data warehouses, yes, this is sometimes a quick task. Otherwise, if your whole data architecture/system tool usage is immature and decentralized… a demanding exec’s dashboard could be incredibly difficult to create, and even harder if you’re doing so to make accurate, actionable, and speedy reporting.

You don't have a single clue about what it takes for the 10 people needed to build a so-called "simple" dashboard during a 6-month timeframe.
