Never heard anything about Union talk at Southpointe. It must have been specific departments trying to organize. That would have been a complete loss either way. You don't gain anything in a union without sacrificing stuff you want or need in negotiation. A union will only help a group who already has very little and then that union will eventually break due to selfish people looking out for themselves and not the group.

The union talk had nothing to do with this. They’ve been planning this sh-t for years. The financial mess is just a good excuse to pull the bandaid. It was always the Purple Palace.

My team is fully remote but the role is transitioning to Hybrid. Move or take the severance they say.
