I feel like WD is destroying my mental health and I can't say with certainty that it's not intentional. How messed up is that?

This is the advice I got from the company that WD paid to do some transition help after the buyout in March.
They recommended 15 years.
I my case I’ve been working in the same field my whole career so I felt that experience was relevant.
I was laid off by WD and couldn't be happier at the new company. It's such a happier environment. I would definitely take less pay for better mental health. Luckily my new job came with a 20 percent raise, but even if it didn't it would be worth to not be overly stressed. If you can't afford to take a pay cut, you could always move out of California to somewhere you don't need to have a combined household income of $250,000/year to live comfortably.

On your resume, don't list your graduation year and complete work history. Just list your work from the past 10 years. If they ask why you didn't list everything, just tell them that your work from more than 10 years ago is no longer relevant to your current skills.
@sez Easier said than done. No one will hire you if you are above 45.
WD is a bad company, RUN!
Time to woman up!
