Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

Way to k--l the morale

Making everyone wait to see who is in the “thousands” bucket is terrible. I can already see the morale plummeting. A lot of talent is going to leave out of fear because they just keep dragging this out slowly. These are not the Allstate values they preach. Their meetings are so tone deaf it’s almost laughable. Why would they k–l the Esurance brand due to cost but spend billions on purchasing National General. Did I mention the added anxiety of COVID-19 they seem to gloss over in favor of cutting expenses.

Allstate lifers I find funny ... never been through a reduction in force. You all lived on borrowed time this is they way of corporate America now.

No I would rather stay in place and wait for Allstate’s timing (so there’s no business disruption) to let me know my fate. Is this HR trying to dissuade others from taking person control of their careers?
