What mo--ns like @rfg+1nLfZvCf fail to recognize is that tail pipe emissions produce a fraction of the pollution that tire and brake particulates do! Moving from EVs is harder on the electric grid and reduces a minor% of air pollution. It's a fool's gambit.

Luckily the government will align with BEV strategy and regulate the market to make legacy ICE vehicles obsolete and unattractive to consumers. Cry all you want but you will not stop the trend to combat climate change that the government is striving for. Just look at the recent heat waves and other weather extremes driven by man caused climate change. Something has to give.
Same here. I was let go from Model e at the end of June. 4 years ago when I was saying something to the effect of: "The push for EVs is ideological and not driven by a market demand or even a 'clean energy' or other economic calculus." Oh boy - the perplexed frowns I received indicated the truth was certainly not welcome . . . Ford went 'all in' on the EVs, took the 9+ billion dollar 'loan' because the illegitimate regime in charge would destroy them otherwise. It's essentially about huge transfers of wealth from 'petrol-dollars' to 'big-tech-gov-tyranny' dollars to align with a global commi-facist government, and also about control of everything you think and do because YOU are the final product. You will obey. You will submit. The next 'potus' has already been chosen, so vote if it makes you feel better but the ballot box does not make a difference anymore thanks to so many d-mbed-down feckless cheating intellectually lazy and corrupt amerikans.
I will NEVER EVER buy an EV. I'll drive old clunker ICE vehicles if I have to.
