What is wrong with GF's SLT?

GF's Senior Leadership Team (SLT) is just horrible. Zero innovation, zero strategy, horrible at getting the team to execute, totally lost trust in them by all employees. What is the BoD/Investment company waiting for before pulling the plug on TC and his minions and heading in another direction before the ship sinks? The investment company has no idea how bad things are going to get and how crippled things are today in development because most all the talent has left. GF finds these people for SLT who never succeeded at other companies, promotes them because they outsource resources while at the same time the ship is sinking. Time to wake up BoD and Investment company and find a new captain and minions to drive the ship before GF becomes Titanic2.0!!!!

The problem with the Glint Survey is first they don't really ask any questions about SLT these days because in the past the results were so bad. They focus the survey on ways to fry and make first line managers look bad. The problems at GF aren't with lower management, they are strategy related with a bunch of monkeys running the company and being in the SLT. It would be good for once to have a very open survey asking what the real issues are and proposed solutions, then the SLT would be highlighted very negatively but they won't do this and even if they did no action would come from it, the results wouldn't even be shared.

GF employees are delusional if they think there's a future at GF. Nothing will get better as long as the sign says GlobalFoundries...

@qul, I agree with you the main shareholder wants to unload and is selling a pig with lipstick on it at this point trying to get top dollar. However, if Intel won't buy GF after the Tower purchase went south then nobody will buy them. The problem is us employees are stuck in the bottom of a septic tank like a heavy tu-d just continuing to be flushed on day after day. I feel like the only way out is to leave at this point. Spent the majority of today updating resume and applying for jobs tonight, let's hope for the best!!

I agree with you, but M-la owners care about unloading their 70%+ company at the highest price asap, and nothing else they'd care about. This is the actual strategy and the merit function SLT executes toward - sad story for many of us. That explains a lot - no money spared for silly PR, in expense of company future, NPI, retention etc.
