Will frontline staff be affected by the layoffs?

PBNA merch is a joke. I have been a sales rep for 30 years. Back in the day we would drop a pallet of core on the floor, the team would fill the little items and be on there way. Now its a 4-6 hr workout per walmart with more work added to your plate. Theres no way back from this. Merchandise productivity isn't a thing but they keep removing heads. I had merch scheduled to hit my alberstons as its 5th stop. Walmart, neighborhood market, Kroger, Small target and Albertsons. Its a horrible route so the new people get put on it. I had one guy tell me he had to work 40 pallets that day.. He saiid he could go make 5x more in a single day by working for a moving company and unloadiing 1 semi with 5 other people.

Work load is very broken

Top down maybe. The field is already gutted. I got peeps on both coasts, in fly over states and on the border from canadia to mexxxiico!

All say the same thing. Customer expectations are insane, no one to be in the store to do the work neeeded to hit them.

When you hire, its going to take 20 weeeks to traaaaain and since no pensions people aint stiicking around.

@p5 looool you can’t be serious. Working in PFNA is like playing a game in sandbox mode. High margin, high share, and unlimited resources. Anyone can be successful doing it.

Will not be a surprise at all, better run PFNA supply chain can easily absorb many parts of bloated PBNA beareacracy.

There has always been a plan to merge PBNA and PFNA. This may be the reason why PBNA will get gutted. PFNA is doing much better than PBNA. Just transfer all the process to PFNA and gut PBNA. Make sense.

There might be fools in the penthouse, but these are the only fools they have.

Not all that surprising if it does happen. Look at how poorly all the brands have been performing. Even Pepsi hasn’t grown significantly or consistently enough. Don’t even bother looking at the smaller brands like Mug, Lipton, Rockstar, even Bubly. All of PBNA needs major course correction.

Add those who are retiring on 12/31 because of the pension contribution stoppage. Glad I won't be here for Jan 1st 2026.
