Our union is stronger than ever! At the start of this I would sometimes roll my eyes when I heard " one day longer, one day stronger." I thought this was just some more of that union rah, rah crap. It's not though. Every day our group gets closer and closer together. We're learning things about one another in our personal lives that we never had time to learn about because we were so busy at work. I'm seeing people on the picket line that i haven't seen since I was in training years ago and we're coming together for a common goal...to be ONE. It's taken a month on strike for me to understand and to really appreciate what a great union is and why we need to stick together. This strike IS making us stronger everyday. And when we come back...and we WILL be back...things are going to be a little different around here. I AM STRONGER! Now go ahead and respond with your obnoxious comments. WE'RE WINNING....and you know it!

People don't want to picket anymore. The loss at this point can never be recovered.
The picketers I see don't look stronger than ever. The ones in 2011 were so-so but these ones for the most part look like they know it's a lost cause but some still have a glimmer of hope. Sad that they have faith in someone like Shelton.
I guess according to this fellow that people feeling stress and financial hardship during all this is considered WINNING.Your probably the same guy who would rent a van for a family member getting thrown out of his home instead of helping them out in the first place.GO GO GO!Victory is at hand!
The SHEEP who believe this post by the other sheep obviously has no compassion for his fellow workers. As long as he suffers least and others more he will speak the loudest to hide how frightened he truly is.
Good. When you realize you no longer have a job maybe you can all move in together
Wow, OP is either joking or the gayest fu(king hippie on the planet.
Nice try Shelton, it's time for the union to go away
"Lowell said u can drive home at end of day and see your family for one hour and sleep 8hours"
LOL. Many of us didn't get 8 hours of sleep prior to the strike, VZ made sure of that. Not everyone works within half an hour from their home. In fact, vast majority doesn't.
Yes, let them assign people from PA to NY locations and vice versa to make sure that no one gets to see the end of this contract. Thanks but no thanks.
"Not the worst place to be. Ask Donald Trump if you don't believe me."
Ask Donald Trump how to negotiate a contract too. 11 months. A disgrace.
Who is vz laying off?
People that live in the sticks that dont want to relocate
Lowell said u can drive home at end of day and see your family for one hour and sleep 8hours
"Enter into mediation."
Keep on repeating that mantra. It might just start working in about 173 years.
"The next place you will see your co-workers is in bankruptcy court."
Not the worst place to be. Ask Donald Trump if you don't believe me.
Somebody needs to use the benefits that they don't have.
Enter into mediation. The next place you will see your co-workers is in bankruptcy court.
"Vz pockets deeper than yours"
We were well aware of that fact prior to the strike. Next.
"Striking more than a month is not worth it."
Well worth it if it prevents VZ from getting rid of thousands of us over the next year or two. Next.
"Ratify the last best final offer."
Not going to happen. Not today, tomorrow or in another month. Maybe in another lifetime.
I smell a whiff of sarcasm here. Maybe? This is too easy to make fun of.
Yawn. tl;dr
So strong u never coming back. Vz pockets deeper than yours. Striking more than a month is not worth it. Ratify the last best final offer.
