Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Any unvaxxed/undisclosed get their RTO yet?

Anyone have any insight on when unvaxxed will be expected back to office? Will they still give 30 days?

@6zdg+1cDGirhy I think your manager is wrong on this don’t believe theme everything bank has said is that only vaccinated people that have filled out their thing are going back as a way to keep it “safe” to rto

I’m in GBAM and we’re told last week that only the vaccinated that updated the tool are invited back at this time. Then this morning I get a call from my manager that said our team is returning to office in two days regardless if they are vaccinated or not. Most of us have not received the HR invite to return and when that was brought up, we were told that back in June we were all told that we were returning September 9th so that is more than 30 day notice. So much inconsistency going on in our line of business. Any others from GBAM having similar experience?

How many people are estimated to RTO in Charlotte next Tuesday? Are they still sticking with the 25%?

The bank threw out the bait and people took it. First they announced they are going to pay you two half days at four hrs each for a shot that takes 10 minutes. So people logged that time essentially taking a full day off with pay and shocked the bank now wants proof that’s how you used that time, hence the vax tool. You weren’t forced to log that time on your time card, but the second you did that allowed the bank to force you to fill out the tool. Then they offered $200 to fill out the tool and you logged that 8 hrs on your timecard and had to fill out the tool. So right wrong or indifferent people played along. Should we RTO now? Probably not due to the surge But the bank is going to use that to force people to quit or retire so they don’t have to layoff people.

@1pxk+1cDGirhy Absolutely agree that the Bank's vaccination status tool has been a major con job to coerce employees back to the office. It is appalling at how misleading they were, especially since they have insisted all along that it's confidential.

On a recent call, my manager did not indicate that he had been given any list of who is returning and when they are due back. I find this to be highly unusual. We were given an updated seating chart on our floor that has nothing changed to provide distancing, only that we will be assigned seats in an open shared workspace. They are only expecting 25% office capacity by Sept 9th.

Only 10% of my immediate team has updated their status in the vaccine portal.

I don't have any "inside info", but here's what looks like is happening through my eyes. Up until around the 4th of July, the Bank insisted that everyone would return to the office on 9/9 regardless of vaccination status. We were told extra safety measures would have to be taken by employees that were not registered on the the vax tool. Fast forward a month or so, and now we are are being told that only vaxxed employees will return and they will be doing that in stages. I believe the bank intentionally led us on that everyone would be returning to the office on the 9th in effort to get everyone to upload their vax cards, now only those uploaded them have the "privilege" of returning to the office. Basically the bank is punishing those who did what they ask by forcing them to return to the office. Its disgusting.

word on the block is they aren’t allowing unvaccinated people back in the office yet. So if you’re vaccinated, and you don’t upload your vaxx card, then you won’t be getting called back in.

I think it’s absolutely crazy to call anyone back in yet, vaccinated or not, with numbers and hospitalizations being so high. I personally know entire groups of vaccinated people that all got covid. Leadership doesn’t care if we get it, is the impression I’m getting. It’s just collateral damage at this point. They want us back in no matter what.

I fail to see the flaw in the logic.

You care to enlighten us?

My group was told yesterday (with an HR rep present) that they don't know when unvax/unreported folks will return. They are still deciding what to do and how to separate unvaccinated from vaccinated. We were also told that while most buildings will be at 1/3 capacity or less on 9-9 there are some that will be 50% or more associates returning and in those buildings you may not be 6' from others.....but that we should remember that only vaccinated folks will be present. We were also given the BS line that every BofA building has had ventilation updated and every BofA building is cleaned daily. I say BS because I personally know folks that returned to find a year's worth of dust on desks and cups of molded coffee on desks.

I know folks who haven’t disclosed this and none have been “invited to the office” yet

Nope. But I'm very curious! Anyone know any inside info? They have been ultra silent about this from me, not my boss not their boss knows.
