@qrtn+1hkPGAsM the whole be thankful you're not being bombed in Ukraine thing was one for starters.
Conveniently after the great place survey closes, the safety shuttles in NYC are discontinued. People are being played.
@qlgn+1hkPGAsM - uhh, I don't think I heard about this. Insensitive like what?
It's a great place to work, except when officers of the company make ignorant and insensitive comments. Let's continue to promote such individuals, for the sake of diversity and some good PR.
Happy Fourth of July, USA!
Enjoy your company paid holiday!
"Why?"
Why not? I'd rather have a paid day off than not. I don't care the reason.
@bein+1hkPGAsM Do you want to have all Federal Holidays off? Why?
I'd rather have Federal Reserve Notes.
I'm surprised that we Americans actually have off on Monday and it's not a "Cultural Heritage Day" option, like most Federal holidays at this Great Place to Work.
The "MyVoice" results that our VP reported to us (just a handful of top level numbers) were very good.
I'm wondering if the results from the US are dramatically different than the results from India, where they got big raises last year.
What were they thinking? Participate in a Best Place to Work survey for bragging rights and touting it for recruitment?! When their own internal My Voice survey results are sub-par.
There are two realities at play here. The fantasy denial reality- stay the course, keep believing it’s good and getting better, prop up the patsy’s to deliver carefully crafted messages to keep the ugly realities hidden.
And then the real situation. Everything is a total sh$t show behind the carnival tent curtain and no one has a clue where to begin repairing the problems and even if a solution is identified whether it will actually make a difference because it’s only a band aide. The problems are beyond numerous, the fires are huge and out of control and there are glowing embers everywhere just waiting for some oxygen to erupt.
It can never be fixed. The pretense of the company being an enjoyable place to work is off the charts delusional.
Web article states that employees were "randomly" invited to share confidential feedback.
Yet -- WHOLE AREAS did not receive.
Sure sounds "random".
Doesn't sound like they are targeting people/areas where they might get good reviews or anything.
DON'T DO IT! You will get nothing for it!
I wonder if they had to pay per survey sent, and that's why only some were "randomly selected". If low/poor responses, I wonder if they will cough up more dough to send it out to the rest of us. How bad and how much are they willing to spend for this never heard of it before prestigious recognition?
No one on my team or region received the survey.
They must not be getting many reviews.
I've gotten two follow up emails.
Plus the "pinned" Yammer post.
Sheesh.
Spot on @4aqd+1hkPGAsM .
If it comes out bad, you'll just never hear about it again. There won't be a "news" article on MML telling you how we didn't get the award.
But, if we get it, you'll hear about it.
Some might fear telling the truth.
Others that are not favored and been here long enough know Met does what Met wants to do. These surveys are worthless!
They are sending only for making "lists", bragging about Net Promoter Scores and Marketing.
A pulse survey was done, people are miserable and they send out this??? Must figure there are enough suckups and newbies that they will come out smelling like a rose.
Nothing in my inbox. I wonder how they determined who received the survey.

Get better? The dumpster is now on fire
A an aggressive cancer of a place - it’s ki----g me!!!
believe it comes down to freedom of choice to take the survey OR not. A lie? Fear? Can’t speak to that not do I feel that these are major detractors for not taking it. Most people simply can’t be bothered. I can’t say I blame them when leadership continue to turn a blind eye to realities…
So for the people who cant get their brains past a cuss word, get back on topic. Why are people afraid to express their opinion in the survey?Do you think it fixes something if you lie. Do you think things will get better if you lie?
It came from "Great Place To Work".
I've got an idea. Let's create a company that gives out awards to companies. We'll charge the companies $25,000 to be in the running (you know, just to cover survey costs, tax, title, license, overhead). Then we'll give out awards.
As a bonus, we can tell the company who their malcontents are.
I didn't get one either. What email address did it come from?
I didn’t get a survey
Great idea, put egg on their faces.
TRASH THIS SURVEY!
They will be embarrassed, and they might even have to try and do better.
People really need to trash this survey. How embarrassing if they blow this and don't get recognized.
I gave mine a mix of worst possible answers and second worst possible answers. You folks are too paranoid.
CEO: There's going to be a survey coming out and we'd like to get the great company award. By the way, it is coming to your work email address, and we know who filled it out and what they said.
Be honest.
