Hey, totally get what you are saying. But if you are that "type" of person, working hard for 12 years to achieve your professional goal, you have two things going for you. First, they may not want to lay you off, and your manager and team sees that. Second, you may be let go for many other reasons out of your control, but know that where ever you land, I am sure you will be just as successful, and most likely start at a higher level than when you started at Schwab 12 years ago. Have faith. I know its hard. We all are feeling anxiety obviously. But your advise to relax till at least October sounds good to me.
@2hlz+1oCcOfUn not the only thing falling apart.
Southlake building is falling apart.
@2akn+1oCcOfUn Imagine the irony if they had to reopen the TD Ameritrade building in Southlake just to have enough seats. 😂
@2tvb+1oCcOfUn They literally don’t have enough seats for everyone to RTO in Westlake, so think again.
since Westlake is the new HQ, it'll prob see minimal impact... is the other areas I'm worried about...
Layoffs won’t happen until October. Everyone take a big deep breath and prepare for when the inevitable happens. For me, I’ll be smoking weed and crying into my pillow. Took 12 years of hard work to get where I am today. It’ll all be gone in an instant.
But not until October - mid to late.
@1lal+1oCcOfUn scrum team name which was hit?
Denver... heard that sts ast got hit this week.
@qhb+1oCcOfUn This places have lot of tech thing.
OP checkout your local news station for latest news. When it comes to Schwab, layoffs won’t happen until October mid and our CEO is an id--t. He needs a break for like 30 years to recover from the stupidity illness.
🤦♂️
