Thread regarding Allstate Corp. layoffs

It's honestly funny...

A lot of you were discrediting the previous poster the other day as a "Troll" even going as far as having the post taken down ( not sure how or why that was ) regarding the move to inda. now more and more chatter AND PROOF as per several team huddles INCLUDING THE ONE I WAS IN TODAY are verifying the move and the edition of a new hub Location . the cat is out of the bag folks like it or not IT'S HAPPENING . My advice ....Some of you need to keep your mouths closed and your ears open. just my 2 cents . and to the person whom posted the info the other day i thank you for the heads up .... some of these people unfortunately will learn the hard way ....God bless

@slm+1eFROciY, I remember when people would say, “they will never get rid of field adjusters, they will always need people to travel to shops.”

2022 will be a year of layoffs that will
Make last year feel small in comparison…
The majority will be in claims and operations as many of those positions can be easily moved overseas.
Licensing requirements will not protect claims jobs. Licensing for overseas based employees is already underway..
Do not ask me how I know as I will not give away my position…
Other than senior leadership, Allstate will be a company primarily based in countries with a lower cost structure.
The decision was made that this is the only way to more quickly cut into the lead of Geico and Progressive.

Then they’ll ask you to train your Indian successors… it’s the Allstate way.

Allstate needs American adjusters in virtual assist (time zone and licensing), in litigation and injury claims and moderate liability. Those jobs are going nowhere .

This was talked about yesterday in our huddle as well. It is hard to provide a lot of details because in our huddle we did not get a lot of them. What was confirmed was there is a second center opening up in India but it is not in Pune. Also there is a "transformation" for the whole of claims to become lower cost, centralized, and processes combined and simplified. This "journey" as they called it is a multi-year process. And that we are to embrace change and do what is asked to help with this transformation as needed. When our senior leader who visited our huddle and pitched all of the above asked if we had any question there was silence. We all know what this means.

Everyone can thank CEO Tom Wilson for his greed & his decision to move all departments to Pune…

@pwr+1eFROciY the " Vision" is to migrate Claims To a brand new operation center in india . the goal will be eventually 100% But due to training and logistics the process is in motion and will be completed within " the next few years"

If both of you heard it, then why aren't you posting details? This site is for DETAILS, not vagaries. Good grief.
