I am bit confuse , I am not from tech side.
What I have observed is most of tech work in done in Texas , and most Mainframe reside in Colorado.
Is there any good business reason for it.
or it is Schwab way of doing thing?

literally none of them are in CO, to whom are you referring?
@pnr+1qTRzXyC Then why not permeant wfh for mainframe, less people in office?
@pnr+1qTRzXyC yes that's what I have seen, seems OP want to say why they are in CO location, send then Texas or ship them offshore.
Teams are spread out across the country and India. There is no confinement of one team to a certain place except for maybe a few roles in corporate real estate.
@pnr+1qTRzXyC Tasty sarcasm.
There’s no mainframe in Colorado. Staff are able to work from anywhere (well, except home three days a week and in places with good parking where they’re respected).
