Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Remember it's going to get worse not better

Couple of things, don't say management doesn't care. Most TM/SM/CMs understand.... so you have to remember this is an Enterprise Led organization which means VP and above. Trust me, no one below the VP, has any input or decision making ability other than the normal day to day administrative stuff. If they don't go along they are in the same boat you are...and will be run off. Yes some a-holes out there in first line leadership but most are just as stressed or more so than the rank and file! Designed this way! Folks just trying to survive to pay the bills and maybe retire too!

Turnover and horrible work environment-that is the business plan!! THEY DO UNDERSTAND!... so don't keep asking that question! Get a couple of years of experience and leave, that is what they want you to do! Keeps expenses low and creates no movements for change or resistance if the work force turnovers every 3-4 years. It's the business model! You think they built offices next to cattle car drops-offs/public transit to attract great talent! DOPE!!! I think they have realized WFH even allows them to exploit more people in more states even cheaper!

It's gonna get worse. They have reduced staffing by almost 30K employees in 10 years and are growing policies They are high fiving!!!! The plan is working! Everyone is numbered 1-57.5K. Simple as that, they could absolutely care less about you or anything you bring to the table. Stress, your problem, too much work, leave/oh well! We don't want your ideas, we are smarting than you!

Folks bide your time, keep a resume out there, stay under the radar, play the game until you have a better option. If you can be patient enough tables do turn! Wait till all the retirements continue, pandemic lifts and job market gets crazy. Eventually they will have to pay the Devil his dues!

Ohhh and I cancelled my SF insurance 8 years ago! Maybe self-defeating but I can't send money when I know it just benefs a worthless agent and immoral/unethical company that treats people like cr-p! Tell your friends and tell your family. Very few companies are better and many are worse but the old adage...two wrongs don't make a right is still true! Protest with your pocket book!

TMs hold a paycheck over your head. Remember they NEVER gave you anything! You earned it! The arrogance and elit elitist behaviors are acts without ethics.

@4hys if supervisors would be flipping burgers you must be the one who would be cleaning the toilets? The fxcking ignorance on this site is amazing. Blame TMs all you want. I blame CS and CAs then for knowingly sticking around doing their job and collecting their paychecks every two weeks when they know deep down the company is so unethical.

Supv on up sell their soles to the devil for money. SF owns them because otherwise they'd be flipping burgers for a living...

I blame TMs, just as much as the rest on up the rank for not having the courage to stand up for what they know deep down inside is unethical business practices. They drank the Kool Aid and projected the image, so they have to live with something they no longer believe in. It is sad how SF has gone from an ethical company to a disaster for employees in the past 25 years. RICO, reorganization, downsizing, selfishness, greed, hostility and disrespect for the associates is shameful. Literally disgusting at all levels. People who disrespect the Frontline employees are sad Individuals who sit on millions and billions of dollars at the demise of the worker need to come out of their elitist desk and explain decisions that ruin families, tear people apart, cause dissention, and create a hostile working environment. They are like substance abusers who never admit they have a problem that affects so many others. They need to explain how they took a great career with morality and made it into a dysfunctional high turn over unethical and almost delusional pile of rubbish. They need a come to Jesus meeting.

@pnn. Let the person say what he/she wants. Isn't that part of inclusion? I would want that person at the table in making decisions because the goal should be he/she is part of the SF family. Believe me, I would be willing to bet there are many more who think like he/she does. Enough of canceling while preaching inclusion!

That’s all fine and dandy OP, but why do you keep posting the same sh-t over and over about devil’s dues, people being treated like sc-m and minions, and whatever else you keep on about. Do you work here still? Or are you just pathologically obsessed with hating SF? You might need some help.

Personally no longer hiring off qualifications in certain areas, then blowing off qualified resumes is enough to ki-l your company.

You’re stuck with id--ts who then think they are smart because they manage 6 people in an insurance company for god sakes lmao.

  • external contractor who gets paid more than managers to fix most of your mistakes while working less.

No you couldn’t pay me to take your salary and deal with id--ts.
