QUESTION: Why are LL5, LL6, Supervision not getting fired? ANSWER? When they are told to crawl under LL4+ desks, they do not complain?
Ford have do many management employees from LL6 to LL2 who has very little to do and corrupted, but they are protected each other so they don't get fired. I have seen these LL doing nothing, work from home, leave work early, traveling for no reasons, spending company's money like water. We need someone like DOGE at Ford yo stop these corruptions.
This company is circling the drain and another wave of mass layoffs is only a matter of time. Same incompetence from leadership across LL1 to LL4. Nothing they're doing is sustainable there’s no long-term vision, no viable strategy, no solutions, no industry research to compete with new start-ups. Yes....there won't be a bailout. Not from Trump, not from anyone.
Current LDP program is trash. Typical class size is 15. LDP programs from the past (15+ years ago) only had 5-7 members. LDP'ers as of late have had worthless rotations, where they don't have assignments or projects because the company is in a state of chaos. Lots of LDP'ers being set up south of the border, which does not bode well for US employees.
The chiefs are to blame they handpicked their recent targets while once again protecting their friends and lovers in the company. Supervisors and Managers had nothing to do with it.
OP do you think the higher up the LL level you go the better it gets?
I would have to say at least 75% or more are worthless.

Here are Leadership Levels, LL1 to LL6 are untouchabe:
LL1 – CEO
LL2 – Executive Vice President / Group Vice President
LL3 – Vice President
LL4 – Executive Director / Director
LL5 – Senior Manager / Chief Engineer / Senior Leader
LL6 – Manager / Supervisor
LL7 – Individual Contributor (experienced level)
LL8 – Entry-Level Professional (often new college hires)
Years ago, Ford pumped up the number of LL6s. A long time ago the GSR levels went up to 10. When they switched over, many GSR 9s and 10s got LL ranks. Also, back then it was more freely given out. Some roles required certain levels of clearance - even just to get into certain rooms - so people would be given the promotion.
Anyway, that was a long time ago. That lead to an overflow of LL5s and LL4s in the company. The "smart redesign" in 2018 got rid of a lot of those 5s and 4s - they were also pension eligible.
Now I suspect that Ford is trying to plan for the future by protecting LL6s.
A lot of these LL6s today were from the old style LDP where they would just 'entered' into the program because a higher up liked them. Lots of people went through LDP this way. Many very mediocre people now have LL titles because of this. That's the future leadership of Ford Motor Company.
Last comment. A handful of years ago, Ford redesigned the LDP (leadership development program) so that a much smaller number of applicants would be accepted. But I suspect it'll still be a matter of 'who' you know more than 'what' you know...
Yeah, good question. Don’t know about the Indian chief race interplay though but objectively on grounds outside of that, good question.
