Our leadership is useless. We’re all supposed to work for the next month with this layoff cloud over our heads. It kind of sums up their attitude to employee mental health, that being they just don’t care. Meanwhile all we get for direction are rumours and trolls posting on this website things that may or may not be true. The id--t CLT clearly sees these posts but still no clarification on Helix about what is or is not going to happen. Just do what you’re going to do and get it over with you losers.

@pc+1jreqpqk5 that’s like saying the Liberals doubled our national debt in 10 years because of Covid. Yes, the entire stock market is down; however you should try plotting CVE with some actual peers like CNQ, OVV, SU, CVX, COP, TOU and then come back and tell us what you think the market thinks about CVE! CVE has been on a steep decline since well before market fluctuations due to tariffs.

Lay offs is a lot more than just the morale equation. Profit Margins, stock price, costs, leadership and everything else in between to name a few.
The layoffs will continue until morale improves!!!
Stock price is down 9% today. The market hates Cenovus more than other major oil stocks in Canada. This is really concerning....
So a letter circulates at my site on Friday, April 4th stating there will be job consolidations and layoffs. The site is also on a vacation freeze until middle of July, making it difficult to job hunt and interview. I am not going to sit there and wait to be fired. I provide for my family. I sent my resume and met virtually with a recruiter in the industry yesterday. I’m going to any interview I might be lucky enough to secure. So what form do I fill out for that?
Agree! But, don’t forget they are living the values and being very transparent. It’s such BS!
