@in2 if you are front line sales you have visibility to your territory but you can always extrapolate and people talk and share their numbers with their colleagues.. so it is not a secret but the exact details around the breakdown of numbers is only visible to finance and other leaders.
@1mp I’m guessing someone in finance is on the message board. They would have full visibility.
@1m4 genuine question from someone who doesn't know how to check "our numbers": how do you know that and what's the current performance of these numbers vs expected?
@1k4 we didn't make our numbers so RIFs are definitely not over.
If history is a judge, I would expect it to be the week of August 11th. This lands a week before the company meeting where Jacob can refuse to talk about the layoffs and try to pivot the company forward. I have also seen a few folks comment that we don't have any exact date yet and that we find out 2 weeks out or so. I would expect we will get more rumbles and rumors by the end of July. I really hope I am wrong and that somehow Jacob has steadied the ship and he could possibly announce the end of layoff rounds, but I highly doubt it.

@18w You are correct, someone posted here an exact and accurate date for the Aprill layoff about two weeks in advance.
This forum has been accurate before, but usually there are specific dates and details. Does any of that exist for this round? If not I’d assume this is just rumors.
Any updates on this? I know we are announcing earnings on July 31 I would think it would come before that if it is going to happen.

@qy that is not right. They did a whole re-org of marketing and now are executing on these roles and responsibilities. If there is a layoff, it won’t be in marketing. Maybe commercial, ILS, or R&D.
This is fear mongering. I’m in a role where I almost always see these coming and I’ve heard nothing for 2025 (but hold your horses for 2026…)
@jh they’ve been filing the warn notice the same day they notify folks. They play this legal loophole where then you’re technically employed still for 60 days even though they cut your access/fire you. But still pay your salary for that time.
@pq nope. I heard it’s heavy in commercial and marketing with senior directors and ADs. Also heard that the VPs and above got a total of $2MM bonuses for thanking them for H1!
@gk without research and development there is no company... Everything else depends on new product development and manufacturing
@jk have you seen how they do financial estimate for bonus... They miss almost once every two year... So either they do it deliberately to avoid paying bonus or just incompetent as you said.

@p5 that’s terrible. They let go over 3000 people in last 3 years. We are only 7500 left so 10-20% of that, That’s a lot. This is going to be thee worst.
I’ve heard unsubstantiated rumours that it could be as much as 10/20% total workforce.
April RIF payouts hit in Mid-July. It’s a very periodic cycle when you plot all 9 out.

Another made up statement with no information. Posts like this will make it impossible to have trust in this forum moving forward, unfortunate as this has been a good place for information previously.

I just don’t understand this RIF strategy they keep trying to do. No other company is doing a RIF every three months. They are either horrible at financial predictions/planning, or literally so inexperienced at running a company they are just clueless
