So Little Rich says that the government is attacking oil and gas workers over climate concerns and wanting reduced production of oil. How does he square that with laying off thousands of those same workers for profits?

There is a reason @oux+1sVFoIsT was an employee his whole life. Take a look at the Business and Professional Income form on the CRA website … deductions my friend including costs associated with my home offfice brings net income down to zero.

And saying your business pays the tax still means you pay the tax. By the way, how much is that health care and pension costing you? I may be retired and never worked as a consultant but I do know it is not all sugar.
As one of those who lost my Suncor job as part of Freddie’s thirst for profits, I am happy to be gone from his sinking ship. I work from home as a consultant. Being an entrepreneur, I pay zero tax on my earnings compared to giving away 35%+ to fund government programs from which I receive no benefit. And I am collecting EI to boot. Now that is Winning !!
