Thread regarding Medtronic Inc. layoffs

How many people were laid off altogether?

Leadership has been very shy about disclosing this number, so I think it would be good to get a count for transparency and accountability sake.

@otm+1srXqJA5 I would take it! Remember, this website is for the underperforming people who got laid off… the 90,000 satisfied employees aren’t on here.

They would never disclose it because we would get a full picture and fact base size of the leadership incompetence and maybe hold them (finally) accountable…

I can say 130 RIFs in CRM..that coming from the all clear message from a VP. Unfortunately or maybe fortunately if I think about it...I wasn't in the room because I was RIFd on Tuesday May 6th. CST and Neuro RIFs happened on the 7th.

We should be able to get an idea from WARN, but MDT isn't on time for that.

We won't get a number ever. Then they'll talk about those that were laid off as if they left voluntarily. It's sickening.

It's on us to talk to our team members and find those numbers out and report them. If they want to keep us in dark then there's a reason for it. I'm tired of hearing about transparency and transformation when the people at the top are never impacted by these changes.

Zero chance. Most likely you won’t see management even speak to it as having happened. We are being lead by those that hide from the truth vs work to solve problems.
