The salaries are not the main issue with our management. It is the number of washed out and ineffective executives and middle managers still at the trough. As a company we do not hold them accountable and weed out the poor performers.
Inflation sure isn't affecting the upper upper class.
I think back on some of my pay raises and or salary, that I bet Darren's housekeeper makes more than myself ever did.
Getting more piggies at the trough! What an embarrassment! I don't know how they can sleep at night when others haven't gotten any pay raises in years.
Cut more opex and people; work from India then give really big pay raises to the 8000 people (mostly in the field and in refineries and petrochem plants) left in the US. Sell the campus and move the remainder into a small 3 story building in Downtown Houston
Every Exxon executive is straight, white, male, and Republican. Just putting that out there for all of you “trickle-down” types who loved the system and the people running it - until you were the ones getting “trickled” all over.
How do you feel about the system now?
@oqw+1k2wrtEL True that, stock is down nearly 3% today.
Hahaha i bet everyone complaining about this generates negative shareholders value
If they're so great how come Exxon stock is downward tracking in line with the crude price trend?
Welcome to Amerika; it could have been worse, but be rest assured it's only going to get worse. The rich will continue to get richer as everyone else gets poorer. Soon we will look a lot like the rest of the world (without a real middle class).
Be sure to thank our politicians that pretend to be looking out for the "little guy" while being funded by the rich to stay in power and look the other way when we are being skrewed royally.
What a f n joke. 10.5%>. Fvk DW and his mother
“The Houston-based oil major paid Woods a total compensation of $23.6 million in 2021 and $15.6 million in 2020.”
While some really good employees were being NSI’d to meet the 8% target, DW’s salary went UP $8M. Lives, families, CAREERS flipped upside down and kicked to the curb.
All for greed, greed, greed.
I pray there is a certain place in he-l for these people.
