I wouldn’t think of all the “reply to all” replies as being stupid, I thought it was actually quite subversive. I truly hope that there are not that many stupid people in the company.
I did also chuckle but not for too long when I then couldn’t send any emails as my quota was exceeded due all the mails…..
brought some relief to an otherwise crazy week.
This event definitely was the best thing to happen in work over the last 18 months!!!!!! Loved the idiocy! #wining

My favorite was the guy asking people to consider the carbon footprint of hitting reply all.
My coworkers and I laughed pretty hard most of the day on this one. Actually some good training in some of the replies. Also some folks may want to work on their anger management.
Sounds like an innocent mistake and unrelated to company employment.

What if this was a Social experiment to see how many would deflect/shun away from helping? Everyone that asked to be removed I would not want on a group project. Not many (if any) people saying “How can I help, TT”. Probably the best way to summarize our culture; The quick to shy away from responsibility and the ones who don’t say anything.

After this, it’s hard to even pretend this company hires “the best and brightest”. One can understand at the very beginning a few people clicking “Reply all” by mistake, but after your mailbox is clogged by hundreds of messages you STILL will go ahead and reply in any way, you must be abysmally dim.
Anyone responding to all, after seeing a 100 emails on the subject in their email inbox, should be ranked NSI . Did not realize there were this many ignorant people in the company.
