Layed off on January 26/21

After 22 years of working for Husky I "retired". Just finished filing my 2021 Income Tax Return. I paid $170K in income tax. Not a lie. Even so, still thrilled to be gone. Livin' Large !!!

@1dud+1gz1yGha --> There is nothing an accountant can do with severance. It is pure and simple income. $170K represents 40% of my 2021 Husky T4.

I also think you need a better accountant if you paid that much tax, pretty silly thing to toot your ho-n about , I'd take that one to the grave but that's just me
