I think most of these new exes are here for the bonuses and the are out. They are running the store into the ground with the GWP/Teaming change. So much potential for more sales by this new structure is a road block.

Did you notice what the good executives of this company think of their own "associates"? That's right. They think you're ignorant, stupid, uneducated thieves. But hey! You don't need a union because you can use the open door to talk directly to the people who hold you in contempt. If a union is so useless, why do they fear it so much? If you pay 25 cents an hour in Union dues after the Union scores you a $2 to $5 per hour raise then the math is not that hard. Check the news for what the UFCW has gotten employees at King Soopers, Albertsons, and Safeway. More money, more benefits, more respect. Sounds like a bargain to me.

I work at the home office a few steps below the so called Vice President on his private jet. The home office is getting 2% raises too. Margins get eaten whenever inflation happens.

Like there's any issue a union could fix. Other than relieving folks of their hard-earned money on the regular.
Walmart will close stores at the mere threat of unionization. They thrive on associates being powerless and ignorant. Threaten to unionize and Home Office "HR" will be in your store faster than flies on sh-t. They will promise to fix all of your problems and walk away when the media attention is off of them.
Don't hate on others for being successful. Step up your game, and upgrade your life too!
