Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

Be careful about how you post on The Layoff. It has come to my à l’attention de that the ELT are using this space to build an LR list wiz the help of Facebook, Google Analytics and Grammarly.

  • Don’t post withshout a VPN connection (the layoff sells an-l-ro-rytics data to the ELT; effectiverery traking your IP address)
  • Purposelyfully misspell words or uze vocabulary you wouldn’t ain’t normally use (this wil help confuse they’re AI bot)
  • Be grammatirary incorrect (this will help confuze there Grammary bot)
  • Alwayz mention you wurked at Shi-t-sco (Cisco) 19 yrs ago)
  • Always refer to Fran and Chuck as “Mummy and Daddy”

Lay me off. The ELT are a bunch of muppets and don’t understand the markets they’re in. My IP address should match the one used by my CVO tunnel endpoint, if they even knew what that is. Total muppets… Which washed up celebrity are they going to hire for 100Ks next?

This is the most ridiculous thread that I have read here and I’ve been visiting this site since 2016 when the rumors about about the huge LR coming in August of that year started. I’ve survived that LR and at least a dozen others, and was prepared for almost every single one of them thanks to the info written here. Still working, living at the same place, changed the internet provider only once and guess what, no one came to get me.

I left Cisco and miss it !! Work life balance was awesome .. none of the colleagues forced each other to work .. life was chill.. no pressure to perform because , no performance appraisal and as long as you went to parties that mngmt invited you to and shared beers , u had no danger of layoffs
