Post ID: @nhz+1qtMSo2i is a good summary and is no surprise to our leadership. Do you really believe the smartest guy in the room does not realize this? Employees, families, our futures impacted by this.
Another regret is not declaring bankruptcy earlier.
It would have added one more feather to my crown and my list of accomplishments listed as follows :
Consistent major layoffs for each year that I was a CEO.
Consistently underforming 3M ( - 47%) stock under my leadership while S&P stock index moved upwards( 76% in the last 5 years).
Consistently unable to organically grow any part of the business across any geographies.
Consistently record high attrition of employees under my tenure.
What else can you think of eh ? I am a little tired today after having to make that difficult pension freeze announcement today and need to retire a bit early today.
See ya folks tomorrow as I led the company to greater success in 2024!
One of biggest regrets is to implement the new Operating model, Advance 3M, that turns out as a complete disaster.
I honestly don't think MR is capable of that much self-awareness.
