Why layoff now, and not waiting to Sept 16? Is there a schedule?

Welp the ELT lied because they very clearly said the 350 this week were not part of the 7% and were carryover from the last round that hadn’t been notified due to some restructuring issues. Might wanna play it back.

The list is already done but because Fran is using Cisco’s money to go on long “business trips” with her family, she is behind with all the legal paper work required before notifying employees.

350 notified this week are part of 7% not Feb layoff.
Interim move under Ileana from CX are notified this week in chunks

Layoffs will be global. But high-cost countries will be hit harder than other places.

Which country besides USA does Cisco have the most number of employees? I don't work for Cisco. Just wondering if they are going to layoff worldwide or mainly only in USA?

Well, a lot of people complained that they didn’t want to wait for a month to get notified.

They said the decision to do the LR was made in late July. Why they couldn’t decide earlier is open to debate. But my vote is sheer incompetence by the ELT.

They’ve said already that 350 will be impacted this week. These are holdovers from the February LR that hadn’t yet been notified. The rest of us will be notified beginning September 16. US date is 9/16 but other regions will take longer depending on local laws.
