“Effective January 26, Microsoft AI employees who live within 25 or 50 miles of an office (depending on location) "are required to be in the office 4 days a week," the document states.“
Get PepsiCo employees back into the office. Tired of the slackers and side hustlers getting away with hardly working while the best are let go.

@nz come on , not all DPA VPs are equally bad! I agree though that some infamous ones should have been let go last year; too expensive, little value to PEP, and with very bad reputation! Some are not even based in any of PEP hubs! What a waste of money!

Well, the front line is taking a major haircut. Each FLNA Zone is losing SDL’s, routes and merchandisers. This would be the first time in history that routes have been contracted. The assumption would be that Region reductions, and Zone reorganizations will follow in the next wave. Our mismanagement is unbelievable. When the routes become even less manageable than they are now, frontline turnover will escalate, and continue the erosion of our company. Other than that, everything looks pretty good.

@n8 Totally false statement. What is the need to add an insult? Are you working a side hustle or raising small kids on company time?
I’m just aware and feel you may be the one crying if you had to work full time.

@k2 Reduce side hustling and raising kids on company time by requiring ALL employees to come to the office a minimum of 3 days a week/8 hours a day.

PepsiCo is probably the most top-heavy company I’ve seen. EVP, SVP, VP, Dir (LG1-3). I know of a dept of four. Two Directors reporting to a Sr Director with one poor L9 doing the work.

@j7 spot on. S&T needs a big hair cut starting from the top. Too many snr directors and directors who are all a bonded network.
Entire circle down Shyam and Vivek are filled with nepotism Indians.

@j7 you are spot on!!!! There are functions with Associate Managers, Managers, and Senior Managers who are over-leveled, less knowledgeable, and less contributory than lower-level employees, and have no direct reports. (To add salt to a wound, they work part time.)

PepsiCo should look to scale down the top heavy S&T Org and possibly other functions as well. How many of the higher leadership levels are not carrying teams with the numbers of direct reports commensurate to the leadership level? Low hanging here!

Dear PEP:
Please offer the VRP again for PFNA in 2025. I know you have the $$$ squirreled away for it and let’s face it, things ain’t getting better anytime soon. Thank You.

what ever happens, get a legal advice when you are being made redundant at Pepsico. they always offer you first less than what they would be prepared to put on the table just to settle the case! The company is playing dirty, so should you. Get legal advice as soon as you suspect you maybe affected.

Certain jobs will continue to be farmed out at the sacrifice of quality. My question is will the VRP package be offered to 55+ broadly. A lot of rumors but no solid info

I think the VRP are done. Company is not performing and they are still paying people for the last round in March. T&E will be slashed if not already at your location. I think the hole that has been dug is too deep to get out of. Summer is here and sales are still down and no one has a plan. People at the bottom get the blame but they just running the coaches plays and gettin sacked.. They post on linked in the market tours but do they know how much time and labor went into that tour? Especially when you are on a hiring freeze? I guess it’s something to put on the PDR and maybe papa will give 2% to make it all worth it. Look for bonuses to change for next year as well. Job market is terrible so odds are in their favor. If planning to leave look while you’re still here
