I’ve noticed some responses on here that sound like they are written ahead of time, Macy’s hired some d–k weed to shame people into not making negative comments about Macy’s on here. How f—ing lame.

Macy's fo not have anything left to manage on public branding ... Hence they are redeploying cheap H1B labor in this site to manage negative posting onslaught.
Paranoid much!
The company employs over 100k people... dont you think a large number of those people look at the site? Not everyone has had a negative experience. Some of us like our job. People tend to comment when they feel strongly about something. So good or bad you have people on both sides. The people who dont care arent posting.
You are so right, previously the majority of all my post have been deleted. I also seem to be ip banned. Fascism at its finest. This is still America and we still have our own opinions.
Let’s make Macy’s great again.
Thank You All!!!
Who? No one is left?
I'm sure you're a cool person in IRL. We're just b—s—ting each other on a Saturday afternoon during lockdown. We'll have to agree to disagree on how companies behave at times.
Okay, we’ve wasted enough of one another’s time. I wish you well.
And once the store I’m apparently a cashier at reopens, I’ll be hock credit card and be friendly to the customers like you said I would.
The point in all of this is that legitimate responses to customers are just the tip of the iceberg. Do you really think that companies are going to admit that certain employees might post some fake Glassdoor reviews at times?
I'm glad that clairified you weren't being facetious. I wasn't sure for a moment.
Yes, that’s called customer service. Not “spying.”
Yes, I’ve seen that article before. And like I said, I said I’m sure they do. I wasn’t being facetious about that. However, just because some do doesn’t mean they all do. And it doesn’t mean that every positive post is a “troll” or whatever disparaging term you decide to use for them.
You are aware that customers can complain about their experiences through social media, right? It's not unusual for companies to monitor and respond to these through their social media channels.

Read this...you'll need a WSJ account to access it. Plenty of companies plant dubious information on the internet to sway opinions and decisions.
This happens with products as well...in the form of fake reviews. Ever bought one of those boxed mattresses? Do some research on their "affiliate programs" and get back to me on that one.
Don't be naive.
Oh really? Is that so? I’ll JG know that we have a dedicated team to sifting through social media posts all day looking for anything negative. It could be useful.
LOL companies have teams dedicated to things like social media and reputation monitoring. Of course you aren't going to see VP's working on that stuff. We also have unpaid trolls willing to tow the company line...such as yourself. It won't be long until you can get back to work and push that credit baby! Complement mothers and their babies! Drive those numbers!
Of course they do. Especially during a pandemic. Can’t imagine a better time. Nothing else for them to do.
Don't lecture me on civility. Do you honestly believe that corporations don't monitor things that are being said about them on the internet? Which cash register do you work at?
I already did that twice today. Maybe I’ll have another go at it tomorrow when I’m refreshed.
Seek help. This whole social distancing thing has clearly rotted your brain.
Why don't you turn the computer off and do something useful...like cum all over JG's corporate headshot? Furlough is a great time to improve yourself. You should use it wisely.
So, anyone who shares an opinion that differentiates from your narrative must have been hired by Macy’s to spy on a handful of anonymous employees on the internet?
Absolutely brilliant. You should volunteer to work with the Trump campaign. They need a special mind like yours.
Macy's is the worst company I worked for – I contemplated self destruction several times.
I actually wouldn't doubt that. Some Target employees have this website called The Break Room, which of course isn't endorsed by Target. Several years ago some of the mods came out and said that Target corporate straight up tried to have the website shut down. Target claimed it was a step toward unionization or some b—s—.
