How many employees actually have SF insurance? I do not and never will! I have 30 years with the company and need to make 2 more years to retire so it is all about me at this point to get out the door into retirement. Do not want to hear any of the trolls/hypocrite comments..cause I already know what you are going to say. With that said, so many people I talk to at work hate SF and what they have done/are doing to employees. Why do you give them your money? I've had all my family, friends and anyone I know cancel their policies with SF....and counting any chance I get. When I tell them how SF treats it people/work environment they usually run to cancel their policies. Plus our service really does suck! The best way to protest any company is to do it with your wallet. I will not contribute to another SF Agent's 2nd retirement home, $90K Ford F-250 King Ranch, or his wife's new Lexus every 2 years. We all have to have a job and pay our bills....I will take the money but I do not have to be part or contribute to these crocked, immoral, useless mother-truckers! Most companies are just like SF and I avoid them as much as possible too! Tipsy is not enjoying any of my money with his $20 million dollar bonus!

@2bnx- lol you are a lifelong Bloomington hermit. Neighbor hoods like Fernando Valley and Boyle Heights have some of the poorest residents in the state. And they could only dream of 800k home or any home. But you will find SF agents there.
If I may, let me translate what the OP is trying so desperately to say at it is very obvious, “ I resent having chosen to spend the majority of my working career grinding away instead of taking a chance to become wealthy like the SF agents I am so jealous of “. There, I fixed it for you, you are welcome.
@2jsl LA is low income? Average house in California is 800,000.00. Maybe their office has a homeless camp outside of it.
@2kzn-you are showing your ignorance again. SF is the ONLY company that actually has agent or ANY presence in low income under served neighborhoods. If you ever left your couch in Bloomington and went in those neighborhoods in Houston, or LA or Chicago you might learn something.
Just cause your I. The elite rich category does not mean your IQ is high or that your an expert. Charmed trolls
Rich boy. Great credit. Longevity
Career path guy. Old school. They rate you low for reasons. Not normal working class rating that have families and low income or life situations. Farm does not want them. Only oldies. And elites and big retirement or family money types
Good for you. Bubble boy
Get with real world
SF has a lot of problems, but rates and overall service are not it. Been insured with SF for 30 years. No one can touch the rates I pay. I check every couple of years. Had a handful of claims and they were always handled well.
Uhhh, that a new Lexus EVERY year scooter, do you really expect my princess to have to drive a two year old Lexus? She actually keeps a second one at the beach condo in Naples. I don’t think State Farm is going to miss the minimum liability limit premium on your 17 year old Ford Taurus. Two years huh? Why wait?
I don’t. Progressive gave me a better rate when I bought a second car, and Allstate gave me the best rate when I bought a home for the home/auto discount. I had SF when I had one car and renters insurance but no more.
Oh the OP, people are only trolls if they don’t agree with you. Nice.
To the poster that says SF price gouges, please share the evidence. SF actually has the 2nd lowest overall price (well cheaper than progressive and Allstate) according to a large research story just published by world news and report. We were the only company, that I can find, who actually cut rates last year, at at a big percentage of 11%. This was on top of the covid 2.2 billion premium refund. It’s why despite nearly 1.8 auto growth, our total premium is down -.07%. Were charging less.
It’s why we have a major lead in autos insured (market share) but progressive has closed the gap in market penetration which is based on total premium. But of course who’d actually have to understand insurance to be aware of those concepts, when no one on this site, which is mostly made up of low paid underwriting service and claim assistants and reps, actually does.
we've had it for more than 35 years...great rates and service
BI - Bodily Injury, neither of which your examples involved. While I’m thrilled those segments handled your claim well, you should see the mishandled turds that get flushed down to INJ
I had a HO claim with SF 60 days ago that could not have gone better. I spoke with 2 different adjusters, both professional and helpful. Got an estimate, received partial reimbursement electronically 2 days later. Just sent documentation on completed work and received remainder of estimate/damages the next day. Hard to beat.

My wife just hit a deer last week. I called in at 7am one day, 1 minute wait to get to someone, got a claim number, went and got an estimate the next day, a day later got an update saying a payment was on the way.
To bad we need to wait for the mail to deliver it.
@ukh-you got spanked.
@xbe-thanks for making my point on your ignorance.
@mvt looks like your the inexperienced troll know nothing bout industry.
Get a life
Had SF Auto until I experienced first hand how the sausage is made. Now I pray to God nobody I care about has to file a BI claim.
Agree that @ukh is misinformed or is making assumptions that are not accurate. SF has 50 different departments of insurance running tests, analysis and /or audits looking for redlining-they would LOVE to find some evidence. Nothing. Anywhere. In fact SF gets some compliments from consumer advocates for NOT using education or income in their rate making unlike GEICO and Progressive. SF has a lot of problems but redlining is not one of them-according to those that regulate them.
Have Whole life policy left w/ SF took out a Northwestern one about the same time 22 years ago. Should have just purchase everything with Northwestern, the cash value difference is not even comparable. Probably need to stop paying for agent trips and put the $$$ into returns. Not sure who’s running Life but it’s a trainwreck!!!
@ukh-his weekly nonsense about redlining and profiling. He clearly has no knowledge of Sf practices or even insurance in general. He is a weekly troll that is getting old….
Retiree…zero insurance with SF. Paying half what I used to.
I have house, car and umbrella.
With umbrella, I need much higher coverage on my car.
But with a good record and the app, I pay $120/6 months for car insurance.
I do and always did, and a few coworkers w/ agents in their fams at work, but a vast majority of people in my office, no matter the pay grade, did NOT have SF ins.
The rich claimant's attorneys almost ALL have SF insurance tho, even if they hate dealing w/ SF adjusters.
I only have it because too lazy to change, because I kind of want to, I hate this company and it's waste.
I used to have SF insurance but changed around 2015 when things started going downhill with the company.
State Farm price gouge (not the charmed elites). Just lower class, certain demographics (personal and location) and imperfect people who have real lives. Management clearly knows nothing about their own practices nor do they care $$
Use to be called redlining and other illegal strategies. Now just common profiling practice.
Systematic and procedural deceit is common in technology and insurance and is the trend.
What they call data analysis, risk management and pricing strategies are really a cover reality of it all
No conspiracy. Just hidden truths.
Dropping all SF insurance - I’d even pay more to be done with them
@rdf you clearly were born in a bubble or get off on harassing OP and others. How ya feel?? Your IQ is clearly low. Clown
It is clear the OP’s family tree does not fork. He is the product of in---t. Explains why he is dating his sister.
Most people above a 50iq know to shop around. Chances are if your family tree is struggling with that, you probably cause people problems.
