While I recognize that the company has to motivate the 30-40 year olds to stay until the pension locks them in - the behaviors I am seeing are ridiculous. Senior technical folks (50+ year olds) with tons of great past assignments/accomplishments are given cr-ppy jobs while mediocre 30 and 40 year olds are treated like royalty. Very unprofessional treatment.
DW - you are taking your best people and demoralizing them. You've invested decades into them and now you give them BS work. And those 30-40 year olds will still quit. If they are smart they will look at how the company treats 50+ year olds and realize they need to leave now.
What a dumpster fire of a company. DW that is your legacy.
