I have to wash my hands, sanitize phones, wear a mask all day, work with the same people everyday, but in the south this does not seem to matter. I saw on instagram a birthday celebration and no one had on a mask even those in the store. Why cant all get back to normal and not just the south? Also my DM hasn’t been to stores saying upper management wont allow them too, so is that even true? You see execs claiming all around the safety of these procedures but does not apply to all. I need to transfer to the south district.

I never did get the whole “treat upper management like royalty” thing. They are just people, why can’t they have real conversations 100 percent of the time. Maybe I don’t want to shake your hand every time you come around, maybe I don’t want to play positive patty with you while we talk about how great Verizon is. Sad thing is if you don’t play these games you are seen as a “non team player”. They don’t work with you everyday. It’s all a show. I hate this part of our company.
Look quite simply the VP & RD here work ppl into the ground and make it seem on IG to their superiors that employees actually like them. She (VP - MM) is clueless and I’m surprised she made it this far in her career
As for not seeing your DM I mean there’s a pandemic going on right now do you really want to see another person in the store ? What does a dm do that u need them in the store ? Moreover who cares whether they visit or not most employees don’t care if they ever see their Dm .... I sure as hell don’t esp when they could potentially spread something to me and my coworkers !!!
These are people that blow their nose in the sink. You think they're going to worry about PPE and social distancing? Lol.
The funny thing is, if you watch the post on the celebration you can even hear the regional vice president talking about there’s a great celebration that was put together for one of her directors. She mentions that it appeared that everybody forgot about the birthday… Looks like they forgot about social distancing and mask requirements also!

I know washing your hands is terrible. The water and soap and lathering and rinsing. It’s so much easier to just keep touching dirty things including your genitals and nasty a–

Hopefully this covid nightmare will be over soon and we can all go back to being non hand washing nasty people touching everything we can get our feces stained hands on!!

No one is allowed back in office spaces at this point; even in the south. As to retail, if what you say is true, will dealt with swiftly.
