Has anyone else been hearing about penalties for badge in badge out duration from their boss? I've been hearing along the grapevine that people who aren't in the office at least 5 hours a day are getting in trouble for leaving too early.

4 hours is not enough daily. Heard of a few people that were sent an email by HR that they were only in the office less than 5 hours a day.
I hate being in the office because my manager is so extra. If she had a fight with her bf that week, I know I need to be as out of sight as possible. She’s on a warpath with anyone who she sees that day.
I have someone on my team that only is in the office when my micromanager does her rounds. She’s only visible for 4ish hours a day. He’s been doing that since we came back into the office and I haven’t noticed a difference.
I did hear from someone extremely high up and credible that they were planning to start tracking coffee badgers. Previously they said there was no 8 hour requirement. So it is being enacted one way or another.
@mg Looking at fewer Mexicans burning things and waving the Mexican flag is a huge win.
The day is coming, in the near future there will be crack down on those who consistently work less than ‘full time’ in the office, that is 8 hours!
Anyone have solid examples of things white male leaders have done to make your lives better / happier?
Meta doesn't need to track employee's time. It pays you loads of money and quantify impacts of everybody's work during performance review. You're let go even with one bad performance outcome.

Badge in badge out is not possible for me. My problem is not fear of hr or manager. It is my team mates! They are the ones who snitches on u
I’ve heard it rumored for 4 hours. My manager doesn’t follow the policy at all… so naturally she is the mayor of enforcing the rule.
Managers seem to be phasing out, at least in my department. HR should be in charge of this because there’s too much favoritism.
I came away from this with something I didn’t expect. Someone said that it isn’t white men making these bad rules and stupid policies. They are right. White men have almost no influence. The ones in mgmt are pushovers and do what the women want. I’ve been conditioned from school to just blame the white guys for everything. They really aren’t responsible for the d-mb s**t we go through.
I’ve been hearing all sorts of rumors about this since the time they installed the badge out scanners. I don’t stay all day and until I hear something about it from my direct manager I’m going to continue to carry on what I’m doing.
Fido is throwing away whatever culture they had down the drain.
Too many restrictions, policies ruining the show, colocation, stricter in office work.
While I understand being in the office as a good team building, having time restrictions and recent colocation policies is really pushing the employees in uprooting their lives is an pathetic attrition tactic
I think they want at least 6 hours.
But I also see people getting "penalized" for badging in at 7:30 AM and leaving at 2:30pm, (I was one of them).
Upon inquiring further, I was told 6 hours during market hours 9:30 to 4 PM.
While my snake of a manager has people on permanent exception who keeps getting promoted.
Fidelity is not the same firm I joined decades ago. I'm truly scared for this place.
Idk about penalties, but I have heard they want people in at least 4-6 hours as day
Yes I have heard this. What did you all think was going to happen?
