Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Feels really good

I couldn't have imagined that giving notice would feel so good!

I am almost certain that if we were to talk to most people, the feeling they had when they gave a notice was better than when they first got the job here?

I did same. No regrets leaving Slave Farm. Everything is better since I left. Worse leadership ever. Bye-bye Clowns!

You won't regret leaving Snake Farm.
Your health will greatly improve mentally and physically. Won't have to worry about Management riding your a-s about Metrics. Snake in the grass co-workers throwing you under the bus and not being able to use PTO whenever you need time off. You'll be a new person able to breathe freely and enjoy life with out all of the unnecessary Slick Farm 💩!!!!

Why give Slick Farm any type of notice!!!! They won't give you any notice when they show you the door. If you decide to retire tomorrow you can quit the next day and still get your EPI Bonus, all your PTO days, and all the retirement benefits. I didn't give my management any notice and called the Employee Benefits Center and started the retirement process and quit. This was done in June and I got EPI Bonus pro rated and the 401K company match $900 the following April.

Please give a single shred of evidence that you are an actual employee rather than a troll.

@mbc+1el9keKF- either you are envious that he got out and you are stuck, or you aren't in claims/underwriting and enjoy a do nothing job.

It feels good but it even greater in couple of months later, to the point where I questioned why I didn't do it sooner. Hindsight is always 20/20 but I'm happy for those who have found courage and the opportunity to leave for a better situation.
