8% again confirmed!

Hello.
I heard from trusting sources in top HR that 8% PIP target is settled. Can anyone confirm?

I have to sit in ranking sessions. Yes, I let several rank low, but they just weren’t performing. Not easy on me, as I was documentation central for each case.
Team got down to what I considered to be 64 high performers. My manager asked me for my bottom 4 performers. That’s when I retired recently.

If you are 52,53,54 at year end. You are safe from PIP.

You can still land in NSI and be put thru meaningless “documented performance counseling”

It is amazing they know how bad we are before ranking.

If your RE in Annandale brace, lots of dead wood in PA . The wage are leaving on their own, no raise 4 years , top technical folks are already gone, moral at its lowest, this site management is corrupt , nothing to see here. Picnic this year. I miss Mr. Frosty 🍦

The age bracket where we are less likely to NSI or PIP you is 52 to 53 1/2 years.

8%. If less would have been announced already. Bad news is kept secret.

Wow, this is bad if true. I was hoping for it to be rolled back (considering the vastly improved financial condition) to 3% where natural attrition should take care of it...

BTW, does that 52-54 immunity still in place?

F#%k Morale

PIP 8% of High Cost experienced engineers.

Hire more Indians and pay them pennies.

It will be ironic when EM loses a payroll discrimination lawsuit and has to pay Indians same as Westerners.

No wonder some people are posting on LI award letter or letter of appreciation from VP, as if they can avoid being in NSI category....all the award received in EM are fake...sometimes you are being asked to write the content letter yourself, but then only will be "signed" by the VP...this is typical corporate america culture with fake awards...

How trusted are your sources if you have to go to an anonymous site to confirm?

I do not think they will change the NSI% this year. EM management will not change their mind easily..keep preaching PIP is good:.hahah

I heard that UpStream has a lower target ( High Attrition) and chemicals is also low. Hermitage F&L and EMRE are taking the whole 8%.

Again we will not purge the management ranks of poor performers and We will be forced to purge competent technical personnel that will be hard to replace. Prepare for technical work from KL and Bangalore that is as bad as our out sourced IT.

Any % PIP number issued by Management PRIOR to an assessment is not based on actual need for improvement.

Weaponized PIP / Layoff

Contract staff at EM have better job security.

We Are ExxonMobil-(one year at a time)

Heard the same directly from our DH. No change to PIP% has been communicated to those doing the rankings.
