Thread regarding Citigroup Inc. / Citibank / Citi layoffs

Is it difficult to land a job and get rehired at Citi?

This is my "first round" working for Citi and since I was the chosen one, I'm not sure how tough it is or not to get a job at this company. Anybody that has been out and rehired, is it highly competed and tough to land a job at Citi or is it fairly easy? Does having worked for Citi in the past with 3 rating help or work against in any way?

Why are you concerned about the rating of 3? It’s not a bad rating, so don’t see why someone would not get rehired. Different thing if their rating was 4.

Why do u want to join if management hasn’t changed?
My previous company keeps ratings in the system for 3 years after employee departure

I’d imagine they are kept but I’m not entirely sure.

Are all your ratings kept on file after you leave?

If you’re manager has you as not “rehireable”, does that mean Citi will definitely not hire you back, even if you have stellar performance ratings? I’m just wondering how much influence the last manager has.

@lcb+1qUn7uft Why would their manager enter rehireable or not for somebody who is getting laid off? I assume that’s only when the employee gets fired or resigns and violates smth example: does not give 2 weeks/1 month notice

Chosen one meaning were you canned? Which group and what level? Sorry to hear.
Depends on how your manager enters your information in the system. They have a field Elgible to rehire or otherwose
