Get a letter of recommendation and be hired in the corporate offices for Disney. I have 22 years experience working for one Mickey Mouse operation, I might as well go work for the original one
I think I would be as professional as I have always been as a Macy's employee. It's tough, it's disgusting, it's unfair, but as adults, we maintain our composure. We all knew it's coming. A colleague once vocally expressed her disgust at a Store Manager as if the downtrend was the Store Manager's fault. My colleague went to a competing retail store, and guess what happened, that same Store Manager from her previous store was hired as District VP for my colleague's new employer. Be professional, it's not anyone's fault in the store, the directives come from corporate.
Post ID: @lak+15EPWPET I make jewelry. The distributor where I buy my supplies has online courses on different jewelry making techniques using metals and other materials. I have also learned how to make Lip Balm, Natural Deodorant, and Eye Shadow. I am working on perfecting my Hair Cream. I view the Lay-Off as an opportunity to invest in my own talents.
My fantasy scenario is that I was given the severance and got out of this sh– show... I’m empathetic of all those who are impacted, But respectfully, take the money and run!
what courses you taking />
Curse out my store manager and sweep some dishes off of table displays
Starting my own business with the online courses and skills I have been learning since furlough began. I saw the writing on the wall in March.
