Everything happened too quickly and seems like totally at random to even try to grasp how many were kicked. I know of at least 35+ just in my scope of contacts who are gone just from hearing about it from others.

The "up to" 8000 was NEVER mentioned by Ford. It came from a third party news source. Also, several other news sources copied this quote.
I think it’s 8,000 + 3,000. The first 8,000 happened two weeks ago.
Why did the cuts change from 8000 to 3000?

Safe to say that majority of the 3k were let go yesterday. I will say they still have a couple hundred left to let go this week.
