Our new lead, TG, wants to put more emphasis on the Science behind the development of our products. She needs to start looking at her SLT. They are trained MANAGERS, but not Scientists. She needs to promote people who are not MBAs but legitimate scientists. For so many years we have kept reinventing the wheel because our leaders would rather sacrifice scientific rigor in favor of speed. But where did this take us? I am sure the new product launches would need to be reformulated in the next couple of months because we were asked to speed things up and sacrificed scientific rigor.
@kp those left are trying to concoct poc projects out of thin air thinking it would be their salvation.
@kn Perhaps the remaining DPA ´leadership´ brought in by infamous G/-ayatri N. will finally be transitioned out. Long overdue! Many of those appointments were viewed by staff and teams as misaligned with the organization’s needs - stretching PEP resources and, according to several internal assessments, contributing to the S&T challenges that undermined our strategy. Some of the SVP individuals still in place continue to raise significant concerns about their conduct - or more frankly - are truly appalling.
