It gives the LL6/LL5, something to do, since they don't know how to manage their people!
Well, in the past 5 years, they've spent Billions (with a B), on real estate and renovations. Not to mention wasting billions on the whole EV nonsense.
So, they dont want the buildings to be empty, they want butts in seats. Its part attrition and part control. I believe we are also being punished for the abismal survey results.

@av I am pretty sure they want us to work in collaborative work spaces all day. During one of the broadcasts, I swear they made the individual work station sound like an afterthought.
@av HR and Ford Land both report to Where’s Waldo. So you have two orgs that need to justify their jobs working together. HR makes up policies back to office to give Ford Land jobs something to do and vice versa.
I wish more people called this conflict of interest out. If they were separated you’d have one pushing back on other.

@ag if it were about productivity maybe they would actually have enough desks for everyone. My team literally got moved to a building with fewer desks. We were told to show up at the crack of dawn if you want two monitors.
It’s all excuses. This has nothing to do with “people not coming in at all.” Nor is it about collaboration. It’s not about productivity. It’s not about quality.
It’s about money. They want more and don’t care if it costs you your time and money.
