Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

Glint survey closes 10/27. Layoffs 10/30.

Wondering about the odd timing of this Glint survey? That’s why.

They don’t care about Glint but I hope it will reflect true sh-t but I am confident that the Leadership will not make any changes.
I am not a consultant but I strongly suggest the leadership to take the same training classes they keep throwing at us - who are not empowered to bring a real change in this hierarchical institution where one has to think before they speak.

HR please do it before OCT 25th before the annual enrollment ends. Husband and wife schwabies. If one of us lose our jobs the other can sign up for benefits.

How many threads do you plan on putting this in? One was sufficient. Do you think HR picks a date & bases them on anonymous comments here? No. A 3rd party consultant tells EC what to do, EC passes it down to HR.

Also, one of you losing a job would qualify as a life change and you could both re-enroll in medical under one person. The date is irrelevant. Read the benefits policy.

We haven't had any meetings to review engagement surveys in literally years. Not since the first covid-era survey results came back. Leadership just ignores them and pretends it's all good.

@klq+1p2G207K right? we blame YOU for not dealing with poor leadership better.. how can you work around our poor planning and awful management style so we dont need to change?

@cpv+1p2G207K I absolutely dread the meetings to review the results and to determine why a score was low on an anonymous survey.

Or because the next client conversion is the following weekend?

you can make sense of it either way....

Survey before layoff: everyone is gonna be pi---d and numbers will be low. after layoffs those remaining will feign support and numbers come up and they go "see we did good! RTO good!"

Survey after layoff: same thing, everyone left is grateful they werent effected and show support for the regime out of fear.

more realistically? the majority of folks dont take the survey seriously and give all 5's or 4's because they would rather pretend everything is fine then have to sit through a meeting to go over the survey results...which is more indicative of how things are going...

Why would they care about the responses from the people they are about to lay off? Would we recommend Schwab to friends and family OF COURSE NOT! LOL

That seems ridiculous.
