Being purchased by AT&T or Apollo would be the opposite. The stock would probably go to .50 cents.

"When the markets start to go up". Why do people assume this is days, weeks or months away? Look at the DOW from 1929-1954 or the Nikkei from 1989-2024.
If you truly feel were going to be sold, buy stock or especially options. Because if MSFT or GOOG buys us, the stock will shoot up temporarily to 15-20 on the hype and you can walk away fat and happy.

Companies would look to buy Lumen when the value is down not up. Folks commenting on waiting for the market to go up are uneducated....on acquisitions.
Just wait. When the markets start to go up, watch Quantum Fiber go up for sale. After that, and if the markets continue to rise at that point, watch other pieces of Lumen get sold off. The execs are licking their chops at the hoped to happen liquidation.
