@qxp+1peY9WN9 Newsflash — when you google Charles Schwab Layoffs, this is literally the first link that pops up. Not Bloomberg, not MSNBC, THIS.
If they don’t want us to look at it then why not just stop Schwab employees from using Google too?
Honestly why should it matter that people look on this board for info? EC told us there would be layoffs. Naturally we want to know when. They've made us wait an eternity, its not betrayal to ask questions. We would all prefer to just hear directly from the EC.
I wonder if this whole post was just schwab hr trying to see how many schwabbies were actively viewing this board for info and tracking who by searches for that number or seeing who went to one source for the first time this morning...
That "email" text is almost 4 years old. Lol
I searched for the number and attempted to access the link that was referenced. I saw an "Access Denied" message from Sharepoint.
At this point, I've heard this board acknowledged openly in multiple meetings, so I think HR is aware that many people are checking here. I doubt that would affect anyone's standing in terms of layoffs, but what do I know.
So if it was specifically for notifying managers, not every PL would be able to access it or have been aware of it right?
That means if you see it you already know about it. And if you don’t then you’re in the same boat as us all.

Warning, searching 37104995 in Schweb could flag you by HR for being active on this board. Not that reading an outside board is illegal, but I don't see the value of searching that number vs taking what is said here with some value. Not that knowing the date or the email makes a difference, but I don't see the value of searching that number sequence vs just waiting of any more value vs risk. Just something to consider.

Just goes to show some people know what's going down and when by now. Even if they really can't share dates of layoffs, I wish they could share reorg plans. Everything I work on is in a weird holding pattern.

I did the search and it looks like the html of an email that says:
"Thank you for attending today's update on our organizational plans. We recognize that we are asking you to play a significant role. Checked the back end of my source too. Used to have unfettered access to everything and see what comms was going out/what was sent to select groups.
Now I can only see the comms my team sends/has sent. Literally nothing else.
