Anyone know if we will have layoffs because of the crownrock acquisition

No layoffs are planned.
Layoffs have nothing to do with liking your employees. Sometimes because of business issues staff has to be laid off. Do you believe that Oxy would have kept employees if the oil prices had not recovered from the pandemic? The company would have been laying people off one round after another. HR would have been really busy. Not one single executive at Oxy these days likes layoffs.
You don’t work at oxy then. There are No layoffs here. Point. VH likes her employees. That’s it.
On the subject of the Crownrock acquisition why does the FTC think consolidation in the upstream is bad for the consumer. Consolidation makes sense where true synergies exist. It is kind of like forcing unitization where optimization on the whole is better than the pieces.
Should be layoffs for the nothing burger you do day after day. Need to take a page out of ENI or Total's playbook. Even Murphy has stepped up and taken a position in West Africa... What is your International New Ventures manager doing besides posting on Facebook everyone else's success stories... You can't buy your way to happiness. GOM map doesn't have anything new... Permian or bust I guess...
Which one is the soft people side and which one is the technical side?
Vicki and Ken are part of the glue that holds the organization together. One is on the soft people side and one is on the technical side.
I hope Vicki and Ken get laid off
@kdy+1svMiGVh, woke up in a bad mood?
You sound sad. Maybe it’s time to find another place to work where they aren’t as understaffed. Then you can be happy.
Vicki said there wouldn’t be not that she hasn’t lied before. I doubt it though with how understaffed we already are currently
