All involved are well aware of MOFCOM issue. They went through this as HGST/WDC merger. You think Apollo and Elliott are that foolish?
This is monumentally stupid. This merger will never get MOFCOM approval. And then WD needs to cough up a couple of billions to Kioxia as termination fee for failed merger.

They have publicly stated the strategic review will be completed this quarter one way or another. The Feb covenant is why the timetable is this way
it's unfolding, just taking time The biz will refinance debt Feb '24 and has to wrap up the strategic review so that all material information is disclosed
Well our stock has been up ~45% this year. I ain’t complaining if the rumors are working to pump stock up.
