New Proposal for a Window Sticker to cover the UAW Price tag

Just heard this... The big three may start listing the cost of the new contract in the vehicle window sticker. Here is an example of how it would be listed for a Ford Bronco Sport:

Price Information:
Base price: $31, 230.00
Total Options: $270.00
Destination & Delivery: $1,595.00
UAW Premium: $995.00

Total Price: 34,090.00

Should we also give them a tip???

Now that’s a novel idea that I have not heard before. What if a brand has a vehicle with one assembly line in Mexico and the other in the US. Will there be a price difference?

Will people pay the extra $995 for a built in the US?

Yep, highway robbery. Forget about Ford. That's every company seeking profit. That's how 401K grows! (or shrinks when "highway robbery" is gone).

Why don’t they list how much ford makes profit and then the dealer list their profit. The customer would be pi---d bc of profit. And now only building high profit vehicles….thats highway robbery!!!!!!

Smith? LOL

All Ford cars in the video game Mafia, Mafia II are branded as Smith.

If Henry were alive he’d be so embarrassed to have his name associated with this company he would change it to Smith, Brown, Toyodai, Schlessinger, Wertheim, Jones etc etc

@kcw+1pk4YjeJ - Sorry, but facts don't support your comment. From all Ford North America assembly plants, the top/best quality (with data to show) is in Mexico. The worst one is in Chicago.

By the way, I've always bought Ford and will never buy Koreans or Chinees but millions are buying Koreans and soon will buy BYD when they bring it to the US. The idea of "buy American" is unfortunately dying. People don't care anymore.

@jzn+1pk4YjeJ - OP here. My bad, and you're right (I was thinking about the Wayne assembly).

Bet you run to Walmart for all your Chinese “race to the bottom” low quality items too. UAW = American jobs, and the folks who build cars deserve to make a living wage. Buy American = support American labor.

Who would even consider buying a vehicle with the UAW involved in it's manufacture ? Ford, the UAW, Detroit, "the little three", are all irrelevant in the world of 2023, no one GAF about them

If I see anything with UAW on the sticker price, I will not even look at the car.

Sorry, I have not been to a Ford dealership since 1999.

who would even consider buying a vehicle that had the UAW involved in it's manufacture ? I stopped doing that in 1984 and have never looked back.
