I can't believe some people are trying to paint SF as some goody-two-shoes that once upon a time helped people from the goodness of its heart. Are you kidding me? It was always about the money - and the best way to get money is if you paint yourself in the best possible light, whether it's true or not. Talk about a serious case of Stockholm Syndrome...

SF is weird how they treat their employees and their customers. No wonder they give a gallon size side of ranch dressing. Speaks volumes.
Owning a business always involves money. I don't think anyone disputes that fact. Even non-profits need money to support overhead costs in order to do good for the community. What sets businesses apart is how they treat their employees. If a company treats their employees as valuable individuals, then most employees will want their employer to succeed and will work hard to try to make it happen. If business treat their employees like they are expendable, then the employee has little incentive to do their best and is just there for the paycheck. Over time, the business will suffer due to the greed of Executive leadership of trying to cut costs.
I dont understand how mutual execs receive such high compensation. Shoudl we really be leading the industry in exec comp?
I was a lifetime employee, worked for the company back in the good old days. But even then, if anyone thinks for a second that if State Farm didn’t make decisions on what would benefit them, you’re delusional. If State Farm offered you anything, they almost always benefitted more than you did,
Except for the awesome Christmas gifts. And the daily COLA adjustments. And the Christmas parties. And the rose on your desk on your birthday. And… Hmmm.
Okay, I take that statement back,
@1yvz-i’d say you are the OP and still a LOSER. No hope no future is you.
@jyg. I’d say the loser is a brainwashed U. Troll elsewhere.
The OP is another life long loser trying to project his own failures and ineptitude on the co,Panay that is employing him. Both funny and sad simultaneously.
Haven’t seen anybody on here with those rose colored glasses. But I see the same people painting State Farm as the devil incarnate. The vast majority see it for what it is….a very large business. Of course they strive to make money. Get over it.
100 for good. Lol
PR rules at Farm.
