Given the abysmal performance of CR, its a matter of time before G2 takes over from him. Chuck plays golf all day in Atlanta and is really looking for a political run in Georgia. He sends G2 to do all the work for him. The last few potential replacements left cisco like GS.
G2 is worse then CR. He has done absolutely nothing but talk everyone to death. Expect everything under him to get 10 times worse.

When you have clowns running the show, the circus is that much entertaining. G2 replacing CR is just another clown act which will translate into a bigger clown show. Enjoy it!
cisco has run out of people it can use in leadership. no one wants to be part of a huge pile of sh-t. everyone just comes makes a few bucks and is out because they know the leaders are garbage and will never listen to them
I knew the dude is fake since his first email he sent to Collaboration once he joined the company. Everything afterwards just reinforced my very negative opinion about hi. His constant need for self-promotion is appalling and reflects a very bad taste. He just juggles over-hyped words, and copies what other big companies do, which is a clear sign that he has no idea, vision, or ability to innovate. The guy is useless.

Cisco would still dwarf all of their competitors if you took out the less than 10% of its business coming from the US federal government. Considering the US federal government is 23% of GDP it's not like Cisco's business is even close to being proportional.

look at his track record - webex came in with a bang, a multitude of acquisitions - where is that business today? same thing with security - launched a series of solutions / products - security cloud, hypershield, etc etc - all turned out to be a bunch of "packaging exercise" with another marketing genius TG at the helm.. and now all the AI stuff- what Cisco lacks from top to bottom is clear crisp ACCOUNTABILITY - starts from CR! G2 is worse - beyond the sycophants who like each and everyone of his posts and a few "influencers" that are hired to make him look good - the skill of "personal branding" - he has mastered it!
You should listen to him in some of the closed meetings - any of his peers become either a “close” buddy or a “brother” - until he cuts them out and it’s the next one. Now it’s Mark Patterson - BFF for life and then the never ending su-king up to the real AI leaders
He has accomplished a ton on LinkedIn! Serious need for constant validation and mommy issues. There is no class, dignity and acumen - all he does is copy and call out other successful companies give product management gyaan - rinse and repeat - the same posts over and over again with AI! And this guy is a CPO / CEO for one of the greatest or was greatest technology companies.
What I will give him credit though is the marketing hype and how well he has climbed the corporate ladder using others!

pretty evident from his appearance at the trump visit in riyadh that he is being groomed for the ceo role. the brain rot he brings is real. G2 needs a year to start taking over (which he is). i can bet you, by this time next year G2 will have taken over.

shrug, all he will be able to do is layoff, acquire companies that eventually rot, try to keep the sideways momentum going, interject himself into media in order to pretend to be relevant, etc
no one really expects Cisco to ever be a high-tier tech co anymore...just like Intel, some companies just need to go away and make room for others
