Thread regarding Charles Schwab Corp. layoffs

Schwab has a new way of getting rid of people

No cuts necessary, they've figured out they can get folks to leave on their own if they bring micromanaging up a few notches and constantly provide negative feedback. Most of the people who know how to do their jobs are not putting up with this, with a good reason! I think I would walk away as well if I was just a little bit less stubborn. I don't want to give them the satisfaction.

Then you have not worked with Fools Team.
There is No code at all, they pretend to move the world.
The code they have they cannot handle

'Why would you add more work to your plate for free?'

Sounds like a smart way to increase attrition.

I was a manager once. Micromanaging my subordinates took a lot of work and efforts. If Schwab managers “complied” with leadership to drive ppl out by micromanaging, then they are d-mb. Why would you add more work to your plate for free?

I know the micromanaging gave me that final push right out the door...and I thank you Schwab, didn't realize how disconnected and numb I had become until I wasn't there.
